Just like adults, children growing up in our fast paced, digital world are often overstimulated and over scheduled. Practicing yoga regularly, can help them learn how to relax and refresh their minds and bodies alike. From a young age, yoga can help kids gain body awareness through the poses and stretches, as well as, confidence through self discovery.

Keep in mind, this isn't your mother's or father's yoga practice. To keep children's interest and attention, classes are highly interactive, often including elements of music and dance. And while the majority of the sessions focus on fun and movement, each ends with quiet time to relax and reflect, while also learning breathing techniques.

For classes longer than 45 minutes, a calming activity such as colouring or beading will follow, to ensure children stay in a relaxed state.
